Well I’ve been spinning Windows Server Technical Preview since the second day of its release and I can say am pretty impress specially on the Hyper-V side. Being a super fan of virtualisation, here is what I have seen till now.
1. New Virtual Machine Configuration Format
The new format is now a .vmcx file apparently protects against data corruption.
2. Windows Server Technical Preview can be added to a running Hyper-V Cluster 2012 R2 (Don’t do it).
This thing works but it still functions as a Windows Server 2012 R2 cluster, but is managed form a Server Technical Preview Installation.
3. Cool Feature or Much Awaited – Add Memory and Network Adapter while VMs are running – MUCH AWAITED
